Op dinsdag 4 oktober is fotograaf Kors van Bennekom op 83-jarige leeftijd overleden. Hij begon in 1956 als fotojournalist bij het communistische dagblad De Waarheid, waar hij tot 1965 werkte. Vanaf 1966 legde hij zich ook toe op theaterfotografie. Naast al dit theaterwerk bleef Kors van Bennekom werken als onafhankelijk fotojournalist.
