FOLLOW MARKET For the 1986 model year, BMW unveiled the E28 M535i. This second iteration of the M535i was the highest spec model built on the standard E28 5 Series production line, and featured unique bodywork and panelling. Powered by a 3.4L straight six engine, the M535i was one of the top E28 variants alongside its bigger brother, the E28 M5.
